Response 3 March 7, 2000 [David,] Yes. An educated populace can critically examine what they see, read, and hear. The less educated tend to either disbelieve everything (the cynics) or trust everyone (the gullible), and the purpose of Education shoud be to teach people to avoid these simplistic extremes, as the Baby Boomer mantra admonishes, to "question everything."
