The Monday Muse was begun in the early Fall of 1999, as a source of some divertisement from the daily grind of the practice of law. As is more fully discussed in the first installment (rather ambitiously captioned Volume 1 Number 1), the Muse was intended to offer me the opportunity and incentive to exercise my more philosophical inclinations on a regular basis. Although I have not adhered to the time frame originally proposed, and although it will survive now, if at all, only in a more relaxed format, I continue to find the exercise deeply rewarding.
